813 is our newest "engine" or "pumper". It is classified as a engine because it has its own water tank and pump. It also carries additional firefighting and rescue equipment. 813 can carry up to 6 firefighters. It also has an enclosed cab like engine 812. 813 is rotated with 812 as the first out engine, by rotating 812 and 813 they will both last longer. 813 is the pumper that we take when we go to extrications ( car accidents).
